Job Title: ASIC Verification Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for an ASIC Verification Engineer who will be responsible for delivering standard-compliant IP blocks and/or Sub Systems for use with OTN/Ethernet/CXL ASICs. The role includes simplifying the ASIC development process by utilizing cutting-edge scripts and tools, microarchitecting the design, and recording it using Verilog. You will also be developing the design, creating, and running separate test cases for the RTL issues, and monitoring bug reports from beginning to end. You will assist internal and/or external engineers with the verification, validation, and delivery of designs intended for usage in OTN/Ethernet FPGAs or ASICs.

ResponsibilitiesDeliver standard-compliant IP blocks and Sub Systems for OTN/Ethernet/CXL ASICs.Simplify the ASIC development process using cutting-edge scripts and tools.Microarchitect the design and record it using Verilog.Develop designs and create and run separate test cases for the RTL issues.Monitor bug reports from beginning to end.Assist internal and/or external engineers with verification, validation, and delivery of designs for OTN/Ethernet FPGAs or ASICs.Essential Skills5-8 years of experience in ASIC Verification.Strong background in SystemVerilog, and VHDL.Experience with UVM and SystemVerilog.Knowledge of Telecommunications Protocols (OTN, Ethernet, CXL, etc.).Proficiency with Shell scripting on Unix/Linux.Familiarity with design and verification software such as Vivado and Quartus.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with PCS or Ethernet or MAC or OTN.Knowledge of 200-400G, PCIe, debugging, and test bench development.Familiarity with communication protocols, telecom/data center focus.Proficiency in PERL, TCL, Python.Work Environment

This position is hybrid, in Ottawa ON. This is an excellent opportunity to work on the next generation of Ethernet/OTN-compliant ASICs, many of which are targeted at some of the largest telecom companies globally, including some of the fastest-scaling. The team is at the forefront of Ethernet technology, focusing on developing ASIC that are sold as IP and used in a portfolio of offerings.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $85.00
