Amergis Staffing is currently seeking an ASL(American Sign Language) Fluent Behavior Technician to assist a student 1:1 in a classroom with ASL translation and/or with student(s) actively learning ASL in the Orange County region for the current school year and ongoing.
Positions in this class are established to facilitate communication between deaf and hard-of-hearing students and educators through the use of sign language. Primary duties involve working with hearing impaired students who require use of sign language to interpret instruction of educators in classes, on the school campus, and various community settings at varying sign language competency levels of students as well as de-escalating any behaviors that may arise throughout the day.
The Behavior Technician must be able to verbally communicate with the teacher, aides and students within the class.
***MUST BE FLUENT IN AMERICAN SIGN LANGUAGE***
**Must have a minimum of 6 months ABA experience**
