ASO Marketing Associate
**About the Role** This is a unique opportunity for an outstanding digital marketer to work on growing Uber’s customer base via App Store Optimization (ASO). You’ll work across our portfolio of apps including Uber and Uber Eats; across 60+ countries and over 40 languages worldwide. In this high impact position, you will work as part of the ASO team; responsible for optimizing our portfolio of app store listings; and partner with Uber’s product and marketing teams, as well as colleagues across the globe. **What You'll Do** - Play a key role in managing Uber’s presence across the App Stores (Apple and Google Play) for our portfolio of apps in over 60 countries and 40+ languages, including but not limited to creative A/B testing and keyword optimization. - Owning app store optimization projects from end-to-end, including planning, executions, stakeholder management, as well as reporting. - Contribute to setting and executing a global portfolio strategy for app store optimization across products, customer segments, location and language - Collaborate with the Senior ASO manager and others to identify the highest impact initiatives to drive growth - Stay on top of industry trends relating to mobile marketing and app stores - Work closely with Uber’s paid marketing team, especially the Apple Ads team regarding testing and initiatives to drive incremental growth across paid and organic channels - Work with others from across the business, including product, marketing and operations to identify the largest areas of opportunity, and execute an aggressive experimentation roadmap - Fiercely prioritize projects to ensure the roadmap is optimized for size/scale of impact against priority lines of business/markets - Work with our Apple and Google partners, platform partners, as well as Uber’s engineering, data science, regional ops, developer and product teams **Base Qualifications** - 2+ years of mobile / app marketing, ASO, SEO or CRO related experience - Experience managing and delivering projects or programs within clear timelines and succeeding a fast-paced, rapidly-changing environment - Experience leveraging A/B testing platforms and/or third-party tools - A highly analytical mind, able to use data to identify trends and drive business impact **Preferred Qualifications** - A high bar for quality, productivity, and delivering data-proven results - Ability to work well independently and within a group setting to push projects to completion - Possess a strong interest in new technologies, data, apps and maintain a deep understanding of the mobile app industry - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - A tenacity for solving tough problems with a can-do attitude to accomplish objectives and achieve goals beyond what is required - A hard-working, detail-oriented, organized, and motivated self-starter, constantly striving to improve your skills and look for ways to add value to the team. Thrives on challenges and is not deterred by difficult situations - Excellent organizational skills to juggle multiple tasks concurrently, without losing sight of the highest priority items - Experience developing and implementing SEO / ASO programs for a large scale brand is a plus, including conducting keyword research and optimization, as well as A/B testing. - Experience in performance marketing, managing campaigns across channels such as UAC, Apple Search Ads, SEM, Paid-social, would be a bonus. - Experience handling app store assets for both App Store and Google Play Store is preferred. - Experience working with creative tools e.g. Figma and on creative optimisation - Understanding and use of Tableau or similar business intelligence tools. For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$104,000 per year - USD$115,500 per year. You will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
