Job Title: Asphalt Division Manager
Job Description

As an Asphalt Division Manager, you will lead, manage, and be accountable for the division and team members, ensuring efficient and effective performance. You will oversee daily operations, perform quality control, and handle scheduling and purchasing for asphalt maintenance. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to solve problems and make decisions independently.

ResponsibilitiesLead and manage a team of 7-10 members.Train and direct team members daily.Prepare and complete 30 and 90-day reviews for new hires and annual reviews for direct report team members.Communicate effectively with all team members, including the Operations Manager and Sales Team.Ensure equipment issues are reported to the Fleet and Facility Manager promptly.Identify and solve problems within the division, seeking assistance when necessary.Oversee and perform quality control on the division’s accounts.Purchase and secure all necessary products and subcontractors for the division.Schedule crews and modify schedules as needed.Measure asphalt leads for Sales Team proposals and review all estimates.Train team members in the field.Essential SkillsConstruction and asphalt paving experience.Project management and planning.Knowledge of DOT regulations and OSHA standards.Experience with blueprints and project plans/codes.Road construction and supervision.Proficient in project scheduling.Additional Skills & QualificationsKnowledge of asphalt processes and paving.Experience in asphalt crew management and supervision.CDL is a significant advantage.Comfortable with Microsoft Office and technology.Why Work Here?

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $105000.00/yr.
