The Milling Machine Operator’s primary function is to operate the milling machine to mill existing asphalt to the proper depth prior to resurfacing. Experience and Skills: + Must have extensive milling machine operation experience and the ability to understand the capabilities and limitations of the mill including depth of cut, optimal travel speed, water application rates, leveling the drum, and grade control. + Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to and from the job site. + Follow directions of Foreman as to daily tasks and expectations for each specific project or job site. + Must be available to work on Saturday. + Willing to work overtime. + Always follow the dress code and proper use of PPE. + Strong work ethic and willingness to work as a team to efficiently complete jobs to the highest customer satisfaction.
