Position Summary
Supervise operational activities to include Asphalt plant production, Asphalt plant maintenance, and mobile equipment in one of our plants. Responsibilities Responsible for training and development of team, scheduling, performance management, and effective leadership of hourly workforceSuccessfully lead the Company's safety initiativesWorking knowledge and understanding of OSHA regulations and possess a strong personal commitment to safetyImplement environmental processes and regulationsSuccessfully lead and manage to established production, safety, and environmental objectives and metricsParticipate in yearly planning of asphalt plant production, plant maintenance and salary costs to meet budget goalsManage parts and supply inventoryEffectively work with vendors and subcontractors planning plant maintenance and repair activitiesOther duties as assignedRequirements Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, or equivalent experience preferred2+ years' experience in industry preferredMinimum 1-year supervisory experience in a mining environment preferredExcellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skillsProficient on PC to include MS Office suiteAbility to work flexible schedule as required; including nights and weekendsBilingual in Spanish a plus

Salary Posting:We are excited to share the base hourly rate for this position is $35+. Membership with the International Union of Operating Engineers Local Union No, 9 is required upon hire. Condition and terms of employment and benefits are in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement.
