Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking an Assembler 1 to join their team. As an Assembler 1, you will be part of the production department supporting various assembly operations. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Assembler 1
**Location:** Charlotte, NC
**Pay Range:** $22HR
**What's the Job?**
+ Clean and deburr parts (generator rotor shafts) using cleaning solutions, air hoses, and cloths.
+ Read and interpret schematic drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, and reports to determine materials requirements and assembly instructions.
+ Mark and tag components to track and identify stock inventory.
+ Position, align, and adjust work pieces and electrical parts to facilitate wiring and assembly.
+ Pack finished assemblies for shipment and transport them to storage areas using hoists or hand trucks.
**What's Needed?**
+ No prior experience required; however, six months to 18 months of related experience is preferred.
+ Ability to read and interpret technical documents.
+ Strong attention to detail and quality assurance.
+ Effective communication skills to collaborate with supervisors and team members.
+ Shift: 4pm-2:30am Monday through Friday.
