Volt is immediately hiring an Assembler in Smyrna, TN.
\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
As an Assembler you will:
\r\n\r\n\r\n\tRead and understand moderately complex to very complex wiring diagrams, bill of materials, kit sheets, front elevation and one line.\r\n\tReports issues through entering Andon’s in LDS (Lean Digitization System). Enter wiring terminations through OPS app.\r\n\tAssembles very small to large parts and performs wiring assembly.\r\n\tUtilizes a wide variety of hand tools, air tools, and measuring equipment.\r\n\tWhen discrepancies occur between the bill of materials and drawings, enter Andon in LDS to Team Lead/Engineer.\r\n\tPerforms entire wiring assembly operation of one job (from pre-arranged kit) from start to finish.\r\n\tResponsible for own product quality, proper measuring techniques, and tool use and care.\r\n\tEvaluates and performs basic to moderately complex troubleshooting, and obtains support from supervision, and engineering as needed.\r\n\tEstablishes a safe and healthy work environment.\r\n\tMaintains all certifications for group(s) and completes all required training.\r\n\tPerforms other duties as required and often in other groups. \r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

\r\n\r\n\r\n\t1st Shift: Mon - Fri, 06:00 AM - 02:30 PM\r\n\t2nd Shift: Mon - Fri, 03:30 PM - 12:00 AM\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The ideal candidate will have:
\r\n\r\n\r\n\tHigh School Diploma or GED is required.\r\n\tPrevious wiring experience is preferred.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
Pay Range: $20 to $22 per hour.
\r\n\r\n*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
