Assembler 1st Shift
Adecco is hiring **Assemblers** to work 1st Shift (Monday-Friday, 6:00 am to 2:00pm) in Aurora, IL. Assemblers are responsible for following instructions contained in work orders and examine in process and finished components to confirm completion based on blueprint specifications. If you meet the qualifications listed below-Apply Now! **Pay:** 1st Shift - $17/hour (https://www.adecco.com/en-us/19.70/hour) . **Shift:** Monday-Friday- 6:00 am to 2:00 pm **EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE** Required: + High School diploma, or equivalent + must have transportation to work on-site in Aurora, IL + 6 months assembly experience + Basic computer literacy using Microsoft windows + Basic math skills and ability to use basic measurement equipment (ruler, scale, calipers, tape measure) + Ability to lift or carry up to 50 lbs. + Soldering experience **ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:** Performs simple repetitive mechanical or electro-mechanical sub-assembly work. Direction provided by verbal instructions or established assembly procedures which include but are not limited to: + Work on the required manufacturing shop orders/work load + Operate and inspect all tools and equipment necessary to execute standard work. + Test and calibrate simple assemblies according to specifications. + Execute standard work with an acceptable degree of quality and limited quality discrepancies, showing a trend of improvement. + Follow all company policies , safety rules, and practices. + Execute standard work with support from others on complex tasks. + Identify problems in execution of standard work and request help from others on resolution. + Other duties as assigned **Skills/Competencies:** + Read, write, and understand English. + Ability to lift or carry up to 50 lbs. + Some duties require walking, standing, bending, or climbing for extended periods.
