Job Description
We are seeking several Circuit Card Assemblers (CCA) who are responsible and accountable for producing quality work to prescribed standards. The focus is on continuous improvement to meet customer commitments on schedule and within budget. This role requires adherence to safety procedures, proper use of PPE, and participation in LEAN Events and other improvement activities. The position involves performing entry-level assembly functions, including mechanical, harness, cable, and printed circuit board sub-assemblies, working from models or drawings within Production. We will be conducting interviews starting this week.
ResponsibilitiesProduce quality work to prescribed standards with a focus on continuous improvement.Follow written work instructions and maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all safety procedures, including those governing the handling of materials, chemicals, tools, and equipment (WHMIS).Properly use required PPE.Participate in LEAN Events, 'Six S' activities, action teams, etc.Support, communicate, reinforce, and defend the mission, values, and culture of the organization.Perform entry-level assembly functions, including prep, mechanical, harness, cable, printed circuit board sub-assemblies, spray application, and inspection.Perform simple assemblies and hardware installation, such as screws, washers, and nuts, and have a basic understanding of build documentation.Perform pull-tests and verify tooling, use torque tools, and have the ability to interpret and assemble multiple units in depth.Basic troubleshooting.Access production tools (routers, parts list, work instructions, etc.) and perform wire prep, auto bond, and sleeving.Essential SkillsAssemblyCircuit board assemblySolderingElectronic assemblyMechanical skillsBlueprint readingHand tool proficiencyCircuit board repairPanel board assemblyQuality controlMechanical assemblyCable assemblyCrimpingWiringAdditional Skills & QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED requiredExperience in assembling electronic components for aircraft and submarinesAbility to read blueprints and wire tabulationExperience with board assembly, assembly line processes, and wire harness assemblyWhy Work Here?

Work Environment
The work environment is clean and controlled, with a casual dress code. Assemblers typically use ESD wrist straps and wear smocks over their personal clothes. The shift hours are Monday to Thursday from 6:00 am to 3:30 pm, and every other Friday from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm. Overtime is an expectation and requirement once hired.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Johnstown, Pennsylvania.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $15.00 - $15.00/hr.
