Job Title: Medical Device Production Technician - 1st Shift
Job Description

This position is responsible for the production of high-quality medical devices, primarily in a cleanroom environment. The role includes the formulation of polymers and spray coating formulations, production of medical devices using microscopes, and operation of various equipment and machinery. The candidate must ensure all activities comply with GMP standards.

ResponsibilitiesOperate machinery to produce medical devices according to specifications.Follow manufacturing instructions and accurately update relevant job documentation for traceability.Prepare and package sterile and non-sterile finished or semi-finished goods.Inspect products using microscopes.Set up coating machines, coat, inspect, and fold balloon catheters.Prepare excipient and spray coating formulations.Test formulations and perform line clearance activities.Identify and replenish supplies as needed.Build components required for top-level work orders.Complete required cleaning activities.Essential Skills1+ year of experience in medical device manufacturing.1+ year of experience using microscopes for inspection.Experience in line clearance, pharmaceutical, aseptic, and formulation processes.Proficiency in English (medium level).Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh School diploma or equivalent education.Experience with microscope inspection is preferred.Familiarity with cleanroom gowning and de-gowning processes.Comfortable standing for the entire shift.Willingness to work overtime and weekends.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Work is performed in a cleanroom environment. The schedule includes two 30-minute breaks: one off-the-clock lunch break and one on-the-clock break. Candidates must be comfortable working with chemicals and standing for the entire shift.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Irvine, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr.
