**Job Title: Assembler - 1st Shift** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated Assembler to join our team on the 1st shift. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling gear reducers, gear motors, and other drive components. You will use hand and power tools, perform quality checks, and test units to ensure they meet our high standards. **Responsibilities** + Assemble gear reducers, gear motors, and other drive components based on work orders. + Utilize hand and power tools such as screwdrivers, drills, and wrenches. + Conduct quality checks and test units to ensure functionality. + Handle larger, more complex gearbox assemblies as well as smaller, simpler motor assemblies. **Essential Skills** + 6+ months of assembly experience working with larger parts. + Ability to lift up to 50lbs multiple times a day. + Ability to be on feet for 8-10 hours a day. + Ability to work mandatory overtime when required. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with hand and power tools. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team. + Good communication skills. **Why Work Here?** We offer wage increases every 6 months for the first two years, growth opportunities, and a focus on work-life balance. The environment is climate-controlled but can get hot during summer months. The noise level is moderate. Safety is a priority, so steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, and appropriate attire (shorts or pants with no holes/tears) are required. This is a no-smoking facility. The shift is Monday to Friday, 6 AM to 2:30 PM, with potential overtime extending to 4:30-5 PM. You may also work 4 Saturdays per year, with shifts from 5-9 AM or 2:30-7:30 PM. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Waunakee, Wisconsin. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $21.32 - $21.93/hr.
