+ Construct assemblies, sub-assemblies, components, wiring harnesses, cables, etc. in single or production quantities from mechanical drawings. + Testing and verification of the parts against the drawings. + The Assembler shall have certifications (such as NASA) as required by the particular Technical Task Order or engineering drawings. + Works from detail configuration drawings, wire lists, and cable rundown lists for proper inter-system equipment connections. + Tailors and fabricates cable assemblies as required. + Installs cable assemblies using standard written and generally accepted techniques including the provision for cable service loops and for proper cable routing. + Uses hand tools and portable power tools, as required, to perform wire-wrap and terminal connection installation. + Performs other related duties, as required. + Uses general-purpose visual and audible testing instruments to verify correctness of work. + Assists other higher-level assemblers and engineering personnel in the performance of their work, consistent with own background and training. + High School Diploma or GED. + Must have or be able to obtain a Secret clearance.
