Responsible for identifying all components and hardware, ensuring proper assembly, packaging, documentation, and tagging of all assigned assemblies. Reviews production paperwork to understand the specified requirements for manufacturing.Responsibilities:Accurately measures parts to ensure they meet print specifications and checks material for quality, including edge quality, surface defects, and paint imperfections.Completes production paperwork, including quality and timekeeping records, while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area per 6S standards.Works effectively with team members, demonstrating attention to detail, accuracy, and thoroughness.Wears required safety equipment and correctly fills out production tags to identify produced parts.Performs basic setups using prewritten programs and reads blueprints to monitor required characteristics.Receives on-the-job training from the cell supervisor and contributes to Continuous Improvement initiatives with the Cell Leader.Qualifications and Requirements: High School diploma or GEDExperience: Not applicableEffective communication skills in EnglishAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentWillingness to work overtime as neededAbility to lift to 50 lbsFrequent kneeling, crouching, reaching, and liftingRequired to wear safety glasses and shoes in all manufacturing areasHearing protection required in posted areas and optional in unmarked areas Benefits and Perks:Eligible to enroll in medical, dental and vision insuranceWeekly pay periods401k matching up to 5% Your New Organization: Our client is a premier metal assembly manufacturer serving both commercial and defense industries, with two advanced facilities totaling 240,000 sq. ft.
