**Aerotek is Hiring for a 2nd Shift Assembler in Binghamton, NY!** **Job Description:** Join our dynamic team as an Assembler, where you'll engage in both Caulking and Mechanical Assembly tasks. As a Caulking Assembler, you'll be responsible for the precise caulking of complex parts. As a Mechanical Assembler, you'll focus on assembling parts using various tools and techniques. Both roles require attention to detail, the ability to interpret diagrams, and strong problem-solving skills. **Caulking Assembler** + Perform caulking on complex parts using a caulking tool + Follow work instructions and maneuver in tight spaces + Perfect manufacturing caulking techniques + Meet productivity and quality goals + Assemble components to product specifications + Interpret product diagrams/blueprints + Diagnose and troubleshoot defects **Mechanical Assembler** + Assemble complex parts using hand/power tools and fixtures + Work in a team environment, standing for long periods + Manufacture mechanical assemblies and sub-assemblies + Utilize mechanical aptitude and competency in assemblies + Experience with riveting and glue assemblies + Meet productivity and quality goals + Assemble components to product specifications + Interpret product diagrams/blueprints + Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical defects + Solve problems related to broken mechanical products **Skills** + Assembly, Mechanical, Caulking, Blueprint, Mechanical Assembly, Production **Qualifications** + High school diploma or GED + 1-2 years' experience in a related field + Ability to read/learn blueprints and product specifications + Proficient with hand/air tools and torque specs + Preferred: Ability to use measuring instruments **Experience Level** + Entry Level **Shift** + 2nd - 2:30pm-11:00pm **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
