Job Title: Assembler 2nd Shift
Job Description

The Assembler 2nd Shift position involves working in a manufacturing setting to assemble and caulk large and small complex parts from start to finish. You will use a variety of tools and techniques while adhering to quality and productivity goals. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can interpret diagrams and troubleshoot defects.

ResponsibilitiesConduct and perfect manufacturing caulking techniques.Build to productivity and quality goals.Assemble components and finished goods to product specifications.Interpret product diagrams and blueprints.Diagnose and troubleshoot defects and errors.Perform a variety of operations involving the manufacturing of simple-to-complex mechanical metal assemblies and sub-assemblies.Use high-level mechanical aptitude and competency in assemblies.Experience with riveting and glue assemblies.Identify and solve problems related to broken mechanical products.Essential SkillsExperience with power tools.Ability to cross-train within the department.Mechanical assembly skills.Production experience.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED.1-2 years' experience in a related field.Ability to read and learn blueprints and other product specification documents.Proficient in the use of hand/air tools and torque specs.Ability to use measuring instruments preferred.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

This role operates in a manufacturing setting with exposure to heavy equipment, machinery, and related noise levels. The position requires standing for up to six hours per day, with occasional sitting. Lifting up to 50lbs is required in a proper ergonomic position. This is a state-of-the-art facility located in a key regional location within North America.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Binghamton, New York.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
