**Job Title: Assembler - Second Shift** **Job Description** As an Assembler, you will move around to different departments and perform general production functions such as assembly, machine operation, and quality control of small metal pieces used in the medical field during surgeries. This role involves rotation every 2 hours, requiring you to be on your feet all day. The work is small and intricate, often repetitive, and involves large orders with very small parts. You will alternate between sitting at a bench and standing while performing the assembly tasks. The first shift operates Monday to Thursday from 7:00 am to 4:30 pm, and Friday from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. The second shift operates Monday to Friday from 4:30 pm to 2:00 am. The environment is clean, but machines are close together, making it a tight space. Standards and expectations are clearly visible, with boards and computer screens displaying goals and actual output. Teamwork is emphasized among employees. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Durham, Connecticut. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.00/hr.
