Overview
Responsible for assembling electronic equipment. In this role you will be required to read and interpret instructions, assemble parts and use tools to fit electronic components.


Primary Responsibilities:Follow detailed verbal and/or written instructions, as well as diagrams, blueprints, schematics and other technical documents to assemble productsHand assembly of wire looms, connectors and harnessCollaboration with electrical engineers on prototype PCBs and hand assembly of prototype PCBs for testing purposesTest finished products for defects, and develop testing procedure documentationTroubleshoot malfunctions and perform rework as neededComplete preventative maintenance as neededReport manufacturing defects in product lineMaintain the tools used to create productsAssist with parts stock organization, maintain accurate inventory and replenish/ place requests for supplies as neededAssist with creation of product manuals and maintenance documentationKeep a clean and well-maintained workspaceFollow company procedures and directives
RequirementsAssociate Degree from any Technical Training Institute or (3-4) years of hands-on experienceAbility to comprehend detailed verbal or written instructions, as well as wire diagrams/ schematics, blueprints and other technical documents critical to assemblyAbility to operate soldering equipment including but not limited to soldering iron, reflow oven and hot air stationAbility to setup and operate pick-and-place machineExcellent hand-eye coordinationAptitude for mechanics and eye for detailFamiliarity with schematics and basic circuit structureAbility to lift at least 25lbsWilling to perform repetitive tasks while sitting or standing for extended periods of time
