Position Summary

The Assembler will be responsible for producing quality work to prescribed standards, with a focus on continuous improvement. This role involves following written work instructions, maintaining a safe work environment, and performing entry-level assembly functions within the production department.

Job Responsibilities Produce quality work to meet customer commitments on schedule and within budget. Follow written work instructions and adhere to all safety procedures. Properly use required PPE and handle materials, chemicals, tools, and equipment safely. Participate in LEAN Events, “Six S” activities, and action teams. Support and reinforce the organization’s mission, values, and culture. Perform entry-level assembly functions, including prep, mechanical, harness, cable, printed circuit board sub-assemblies, spray application, and inspection. Perform simple assemblies and hardware installation. Conduct pull-tests and verify tooling, use torque tools, and interpret & assemble multiple units. Basic troubleshooting and maintaining a safe work environment. Access production tools (routers, parts list, work instructions) and perform wire prep, auto bond, and sleeving.
