**Job Title: 1st & 2nd Shift - Assembler** **Job Description** SHIFT TIMES: + 1ST Shift: Monday - Friday 5am - 3:20pm (10-hour shifts) + 2ND Shift: Monday - Friday 3:20pm – 1:40am (10-hour shifts). PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: • There are 2 main business units of filter systems they manufacture: (A.) Railroad Filter Systems Business Unit (B.) Dust Collection Filter Systems Business Unit FLOOR LAYOUT: • The assembly process varies in the cell/area you could be working in, but there is a basic process that is followed with slight tweaks to the process. This area will be in their bag assembly area. You will spin, apply adhesive and/or plastisol to products or components. You will cut media, wrap, or other material, as required. You will perform spot welding, seaming, on filters or components. You will perform packing and inspection of products. • Must complete all quality data and product reports, as needed. • Must meet daily performance requirements. • Must be able to read, understand, and have knowledge of all procedures and meet requirements of these procedures relating to manufacturing of products. • Ability to work overtime hours as required by business need. You may be required to perform other duties as assigned. • Regularly required to stand and use hands to finger or touch objects, tools, or controls, to push and pull objects, and lift and/or move up to 30 lbs. **Hard Skills** + Production + Manufacturing + Assembly **Job Type** This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 3 Month(s). **Work Site** This is a fully on-site position in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. **Work Environment** COMPANY CULTURE/STRUCTURE: The production floor is structured into various cells that are split according to the 2 main business units of filter systems they manufacture: (A.) Railroad Filter Systems Business Unit (B.) Dust Collection Filter Systems Business Unit • The cells are made of 3-6 production workers, depending on the cell. They have 1 material handler that is packing and palletizing the filters and then the rest of the cell assembles the filters. There is a production manager and an assistant production manager that oversees the production floor and they report up to the plant manager.
