**Medical Device Assembler** **2nd Shift - $20 - $23/hr** **Job Description** + Manufacture medical devices including catheter assembly under a microscope. + Follow and adhere to Standard Operating Procedures, Line Clearance, Work Instructions, assembly methods, product handling methods, production drawings, Good Documentation Practices, current Good Manufacturing Practices, and Safety requirements. + Successfully complete training on production tasks. U + nderstand travelers/routers, how to identify materials, use a microscope and use production/inspection tools and equipment needed for product builds. + Operate tools & equipment, and complete documentation as required. + Perform equipment set-up, operation, and in-process inspection to accomplish assigned tasks. + Work directly with Engineers/Supervisors to ensure product integrity and quality at all times. + Collaborate with Engineers to develop process documentation. + Perform inventory counts and other duties as assigned. + Receives verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed. **Hard Skills** + Microscope Assembly + Catheter Assembly + Inspection + SOP + Line Clearance + Working with adhesives (different Loctite) + EFD dispensers and UV curing system **Soft Skills** + Communication Skills **Job Type** This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s). **Work Site** This is a fully on-site position in Carlsbad, California. **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
