**Job Title: Assembler I** **Job Description** Assembly workers build, test, and package small parts and products. You will listen to instructions from supervisors, use handheld tools and medium-sized machines to assemble products, and perform product tests to ensure quality standards. We are looking for individuals who have experience in production or manufacturing, strong attention to detail, and the willingness and ability to learn and follow repetitive assembly procedures. You need to be able to read calipers, work with micrometers, and keep up with higher speed production. Pay ranges from $17-18/hr **Hard Skills** + Reads and interprets simple blueprints, specifications, work orders, or reports + Follows assembly procedures to build parts + Ability to read calipers and work with micrometers + Ability to perform work in a safe manner + Ability to lift 45 pounds and perform repeated physical tasks + Manual dexterity for coordinated hand and finger movements **Soft Skills** + Integrity - Reliability, Responsibility and Accountability + Working knowledge of the English language, both oral and written + High attention to detail with strong vision and hearing + Ability to learn new machines and production procedures + Skill in active listening and following direction **Work Site** This is a fully on-site position in Elon, North Carolina. **Work Environment** Clean, well lit, climate controlled **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
