**Assembler - Lake in the Hills, IL** **Job Description** In this position, candidates will manufacture belts and baskets for the Food Service Industry for several different machines. Candidates will be fully trained to assemble and manufacture both belts and baskets and must be able to work in an assembly-type environment. The products made in this department primarily go into the fast food industry (e.g., McDonald's, Subway). An example of some of the trays or baskets is what Subway uses to toast sandwiches. It is a unique material that has layers and is heat-resistant. Candidates will work with their hands to cut, seal, and put together small parts. **Hard Skills** + Ability to fabricate other parts needed to produce various amounts of belts + Able to read orders and carry out essential functions of the job without direct supervision + Experienced in hand sealer, four-corner fixture, measuring devices + Ability to measure accurately **Work Environment** Team-oriented environment, will cross-train in different areas of the 'Cooking Solutions' department. Will have the opportunity to learn, train, and move into higher-level roles. Some areas with certain machinery may be hot. Employees MUST wear steel-toe footwear and safety glasses at all times.
