Our client, a manufacturer in the Indianapolis, IN area is looking to hire an Assembler. The ideal candidate will need the ability to read blueprints for interpreting blueprints, schematics, etc. Responsibilities include inspecting parts and products for defects, and making adjustments as needed.

The Day-to-Day:

Using hand tools or machinery to assemble parts and subassemblies, and ensuring they fit together correctlyInterpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand how to assemble the productPerforming preventive maintenance, troubleshooting malfunctions, and calling for repairsKeeping the work area clean and organized, and following safety protocolsChecking stock levels, anticipating needed supplies, and placing ordersMeeting production quotas and deadlines while maintaining quality standardsWorking with team members to ensure efficient assembly line operations

Qualifications:

High School Diploma1 to 2 years of experience in assembly work, especially in fields like manufacturing or production is a plusExperience with tools, machinery, or specific assembly techniques is a plusAttention to detail to ensure parts are assembled correctly and meet quality standards.

Pay Rate/Shifts:

$16.00 to $18.00 /hrMonday to Friday8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
