**APPLY TO START THE JOB ASAP** **Job Title: Assembler** **Job Description** Looking for someone who is capable of reading a tape measure and can use hand tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, and drills. The role involves assembling PCB boards and light fixtures. The shift is from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Pay starts at $17.00 and bumps up to $18.00 after 90 days. Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. **Hard Skills** + Read, interpret and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble equipment and products + Utilize hand held tools such as a hand held screw and drill gun + Maintain inventory of product in work stations + Perform quality work checks as well as measurements with a tape measure and ruler to ensure the product meets quality standards + Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation when defects are identified + Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures + Basic computer navigation/utilization skills a plus **Soft Skills** + Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly + Ability to use thinking and reasoning to solve a problem and to think in such a way as to produce a new concept or idea + High attention to detail and self-motivation skills + Must be proficient in English and able to follow directions **Job Type** This is a contract position with a duration of 514 Hour(s). **Work Site** This is a fully on-site position in NA, Rhode Island. **Work Environment** Can get a little messy in there but it is a family culture where everyone cares. **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
