**Job Title: Assembler** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated Assembler with control panel assembly experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess skills in drilling, tapping, and reading a tape measure. This position involves wiring control panels for elevators, point-to-point wiring, and working with various gauge wires. You will utilize hand and power tools to perform assembly tasks. **Responsibilities** + Plan and perform a wide variety of shop floor assembly installations. + Mechanically fasten electronic/electrical components to electrical panels and enclosures. + Work from bill of material (B.O.M.) and shop floor routing to obtain necessary parts and components. + Inspect components for defects and damage prior to installation/assembly. + Determine the location and placement of electrical assemblies, controls, and components using electrical drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, written, verbal, and personal knowledge. + Use common assembly hand and power tools for drilling, tapping, and measuring. **Essential Skills** + At least two years of experience in assembly. + Experience in control panel assembly. + Proficiency in drilling, tapping, and reading a tape measure. + Ability to perform point-to-point wiring and work with various gauge wires. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in wiring control panels for elevators. + Proficiency in working from electrical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams. + Ability to work from bill of material (B.O.M.) and shop floor routing. + Strong attention to detail and ability to perform quality inspections of components. **Why Work Here?** You will have the opportunity to grow into roles in quality control or testing. The shift is from 7am to 3:30pm, with potential for some overtime.
