**Job Title: Actuator Assembly Technician** **Job Description** The Actuator Assembly Technician is responsible for assembling actuators across multiple value streams. The role involves inspecting assembled components visually and using various tools and tests, ensuring that finished assemblies meet functional requirements. The technician will also document testing and quality control results, perform basic preventative maintenance, and ensure all tools and materials are available and in proper working condition. **Responsibilities** + Assemble actuators in multiple value streams. + Inspect assembled components visually and with appropriate tools and tests. + Test finished assemblies for function using gauges, calibration, and measuring tools. + Check dimensions of parts prior to assembly and components post-assembly. + Verify accuracy of work against blueprints and specifications. + Document testing and quality control in appropriate forms and formats. + Perform basic preventative maintenance, including monitoring hand tools. + Contact team lead when tools are not operating within planned parameters. + Review written or electronic blueprints and specifications for a job. + Select tools and materials needed for assembly, including calibration equipment and hand tools. + Request parts and workpieces needed for and during shift; ensure necessary resources are available at the workstation. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in assembly and use of hand tools. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints. + Experience with power tools and tape measures. + Knowledge of hydraulic assembly. + Mechanical aptitude and experience with assembly lines. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High School diploma required. + Entry-level assembly experience, training, licenses, and/or certification is preferred. + Ability to perform basic math, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. + Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. **Work Environment** The role involves working in an industrial manufacturing plant focused on building custom cylinders. The environment is dynamic, with a focus on precision and quality.
