**Job Title: Heavy Equipment Operator** **Job Description** We are seeking a diligent and mechanically inclined Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will have a mix of responsibilities including operating heavy equipment, performing maintenance tasks, and assisting diesel technicians. This role requires an individual who is comfortable working in a variety of environments and can handle a physically demanding job. **Responsibilities** + Spend 3 hours daily pulling 'the wall' in and out (1.5 hours at the start and end of each shift). + Perform light maintenance tasks. + Conduct pre-trip inspections. + Wash machines and perform fluid changes. + General cleaning duties. + Assist diesel technicians with various tasks. **Essential Skills** + Experience as a heavy equipment operator. + Proficiency in operating front-end loaders. + CDL Driver experience. + Experience in maintenance and inspections. + Knowledge of diesel technology. + Ability to use hand tools and mechanical equipment. + Proficiency with power tools and schematics. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Must have a high school diploma or GED. + Ideal candidates will have experience in heavy equipment operation or experience with freight/diesel trucks (though not required). + Mechanical assembly skills. **Why Work Here?** Our company offers a stable job with available overtime and opportunities for departmental movement.
