We have an outstanding Contract position for an Assembler to join a leading Company located in Carson, CA.
Pay Range: $18 - $20**Assembler Level 1 $18/hr****Assembler Level 2 $19/hr****Assembler Level 3 $20/hr**Shift: 6:00AM - 2:30PM
Responsibilities:Assembles aircraft interior structures and/or parts, such as bins, galleys, lavatories, sidewalls, cargo liners, etc, and builds sub-assemblies for the completion of these structures and/or parts using engineering drawings and company and customer specificationsAdheres to company and customer specifications, work instructions, engineering prints & work ordersDocument materials used in each process to maintain traceabilityAll employees are required to productively react to change and handle other essential tasks as assigned now or in the futureMay work at different workstations as production needs requireProvide training to other Production Associates as directedBuilds sub-assemblies of aircraft components, such as:Forming of aluminum trim extrusions, fiberglass laminates, and other materials for completion of the sub-assemblies, parts, or structuresFills and fairs areas as necessary per the established specification or customer limitsInstalls inserts and applies edging materialAssembles sub-components for the structures/unitsCleans work area, machines, tools, and equipment during and after productionPerform other duties as assignedGeneral Notes:Must carefully and safely handle raw material and manufactured parts to ensure the integrity and quality are not compromised by handlingAll employees have an affirmative duty to protect and maintain the confidentiality of all company productsAs business conditions change, it is necessary that all employees productively react and handle other essential tasks as assigned now or in the futureTasks may vary slightly based on products produced at the division
Basic Hiring Criteria:Level 1 Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent Minimum 1-3 years of Electrical Assembly experienceLevel 2 Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent Minimum 4-5 years of Electrical Assembly experienceMid/Experienced level position within the field
