**Job Title: 1st Shift Assembler**
**Job Description**
We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our Light Duty Assembling team. As a 1st Shift Assembler, you will be responsible for putting together electrical units and sub-assemblies that will be provided to the Control Panel team. This role involves hand crimping of electrical terminals, assembling connectors, performing visual inspections, and preparing units for testing. You will have your own work area and are expected to keep it clean and organized. All necessary tools will be provided.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform wiring and assembly operations on standardized electric units and subassemblies.
+ Machine and hand crimp electrical terminals, perform basic soldering of wire connections and connectors, and assemble housings/connectors.
+ Work with wiring charts and schematics.
+ Perform basic visual inspections on materials and prepare units/assemblies for testing.
+ Maintain a clean and organized work area.
**Essential Skills**
+ Proficiency with hand tools, including pliers, screwdrivers, and tape measures.
+ Ability to read and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
+ Experience with wire harness assembly and crimping.
+ Basic understanding of electronics.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Familiarity with schematics and electrical backgrounds are beneficial but not required.
+ Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

**Work Environment**
The work hours are Monday to Friday from 7 AM to 3:30 PM, with two 10-minute breaks and one 30-minute lunch break. The dress code is casual, including jeans, t-shirts, and close-toe shoes (steel toes are not required). The shop is quiet, clean, and well-lit, allowing you to work independently with minimal supervision.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of York, Pennsylvania.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $17.00
