**Job Title: Assembler**
**Job Description**
Ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of manufacturing and assembly experience. You will be performing light mechanical assembly, turning wrenches, and working with wire harnesses, specifically on D9 connectors. Your tasks will include performing tack down of wires, working on panel boxes, and using basic hand tools. Some basic soldering will also be required.

**Essential Skills**

+ Ability to read prints and follow instructions
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ No medical certifications required
+ No PPE needed for shop setting
+ No specific certifications needed
**Why Work Here?**
This is a small operation with a family-like atmosphere. You will have the opportunity to move to other departments and receive cross-training in running CNC machines, water jet, and welding.
**Work Environment**
The work environment is a shop setting that is clean but not climate controlled. You will be working at a station or cubicle setting with about 10-15 other assemblers. The dress code is relaxed, and jeans and t-shirts are fine. While the environment is not too deadline-intensive, a sense of urgency to complete tasks is necessary.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Norfolk, Virginia.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00
