Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and skilled Assembler to join our team. The role involves assembling and packaging various products, reading blueprints and work instructions, and using hand tools. You will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet the required quality standards and are prepared for shipment.

ResponsibilitiesAssemble various sizes of cases and flashlights.Package products according to instructions.Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions.Use hand and power tools for assembly tasks.Count inventory and ensure accurate records are kept.Tape boxes and prepare products for shipment.Lift and move items weighing between 7-40 lbs.Operate small drills, hammers, and rivet machines.Train on the use of pallet jacks and automated shrink wrap machines.Essential SkillsExperience in production, light industry, or mechanical assembly.Proficiency with hand and power tools.Ability to read technical drawings and work orders.Mechanical assembly skills.Capability to lift up to 40 lbs.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in manufacturing or distribution is preferred.Ability to work on 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Our clean work environment involves assembling heavy-duty cases for lighting accessories, cameras, and other equipment. Employees are provided with safety glasses, gloves, and orange vests. You must provide your own steel-toed boots. The role requires lifting items weighing between 7-35 lbs and using small drills, hammers, and rivet machines.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Torrance, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $17.75
