Job Description
Under general supervision, the Assembler I will be responsible for assembling components, including sub-assemblies, manual components, and electrical components, contributing to the completion of a variety of products. The role requires adherence to safety, quality, and quantity standards while following directions and blueprints to meet product specifications.
ResponsibilitiesAssemble components including sub-assemblies, manual components, and electrical components.Follow directions and blueprints to meet product specifications.Adhere to safety, quality, and quantity standards.Carry out verbal instructions and communicate effectively in English.Maintain good housekeeping and ergonomics practices.Participate in workplace organization and follow training procedures, including cross-training and teamwork.Pay attention to detail and speak up when safety or quality issues arise.Learn new processes, systems, and equipment.Work collaboratively with others in a diverse setting, including cross-functional teams.Essential SkillsHigh school diploma or GED.Ability to meet work schedule and overtime requirements, including weekends.Ability to read and understand procedures, safety sheets, instructions, and policies in English.Ability to adhere to safety-related issues.Stamina to perform repetitive tasks.Strong attention to detail.Propensity to speak up regarding safety and quality issues.Ability to learn new processes, systems, and equipment.Teamwork and conflict resolution skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsMotivation to grow, learn, and progress to the next skill level.Willingness and ability to cross-train.Physical ability to lift/carry 10-50 lbs. frequently, with rare lifting/carrying of 50-75 lbs.Prolonged stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending, sitting, standing, and/or crawling.Reaching, pushing, or pulling to accomplish job tasks.Hand grasp ability and coordination of hands and/or eye/hand/foot.Why Work Here?
