Assembler - Lake Zurich, IL

1st shift 6am-2:45pm

$16/hr

Job Description

Individuals will be on a line assembling various pieces of lawn equipment. Each line has 5-10 assemblers using hand and pneumatic tools to complete assemblies. They will be standing in one spot for the entire shift and will rotate stations to learn different areas.

ResponsibilitiesReceive instructions and work specifications from the Group Leader.Assemble, operate machinery, or package company products.Use hand tools and compressed air drivers.Maintain a clean and organized work area daily.Maintain tools, fixtures, and work area in a neat and orderly condition.Follow all safety rules and policies.Perform various other duties and assignments as requested to assist in the overall operation of the department.Essential SkillsBasic mechanical aptitude.Ability to stand on your feet for extended periods of time.Skills in operating small hand tools.Willingness to work overtime.Reliable attendance and punctuality.Work Environment

Clean, well-lit, and temperature-controlled environment. The assembly lines are arranged so that as you move from one end to the other, you can see the progression from small motor part to finished product. All parts are made in-house, supported by CNC and molding machines that supply the lines.
