**Job Title: Assembler** **Job Description** We are seeking an experienced Assembler to join our team in assembling lab equipment. The role involves full-cycle assembly and testing, requiring the use of hand tools, reading blueprints, and assembling stainless steel lab equipment. The ideal candidate will have a high level of proficiency in interpreting blueprint information and be able to lift up to 50 pounds independently. **Responsibilities** + Assemble lab equipment using hand tools. + Perform full-cycle assembly and testing independently. + Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings. + Troubleshoot and repair problems with minimal assistance. + Select appropriate tools, materials, and equipment for non-repetitive assembly operations. + Ensure assembled products meet quality and performance expectations. + Lift up to 50-75 pounds as required. **Essential Skills** + Knowledge of product assembly. + Proficiency in reading and understanding engineering drawings, wiring schematics, and bills of materials. + Basic troubleshooting and repair skills. + Ability to exercise good judgment in tool and material selection. + Basic understanding of quality and performance expectations in assembly. + Ability to work in a team environment. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Previous industrial assembly experience. + Ability to lift 50-75 pounds. + HS Diploma required. + 2 years of recent assembly experience or related experience. + Mechanically inclined. + Long tenure with no gaps in work history. **Why Work Here?** Join a dynamic team in a clean working environment with opportunities for growth. The facility is a 160,000 square foot sheet metal environment that is not temperature controlled. The team consists of about 10 people, working 1st shift from 6:00 AM-2:30 PM, with potential overtime starting at 5:00 AM. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kansas City, Missouri. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
