Assembler

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Assembler to join our team. This role involves working in a cleanroom environment and performing light assembly tasks. You will be responsible for gluing tubes or connectors, assembling small equipment, and ensuring the quality of cardiac surgery devices. This is a repetitive role, but comprehensive training will be provided for approximately a month.

ResponsibilitiesPerform hand assembly of small medical devices on a tabletop.Glue together assembled components.Ensure all assembled parts meet detailed specifications for cardiac surgery devices.Seal and label components accurately, ranging from single components to packages of 25.Maintain a clean and orderly workspace within the cleanroom environment.Essential Skills1-2 years of light assembly experience.Attention to detail.Ability to read blueprints.Experience using hand tools.Mechanical assembly skills.

Work Environment

The position involves working in a cleanroom where you will be gowned up and wear a hair net. The environment is quiet, clean, and air-conditioned. The first shift runs from 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM Monday through Thursday and 6:30 AM to 10:30 AM on Friday, with two breaks and a lunch. The dress code includes cleanroom attire, and you can wear headphones while working.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00
