Job Responsibilities (Mechanical) 

Sets up and operates assembly equipment such as small hydraulic presses, staking, small drill presses, welding machines, air drivers, spin riveters, and winders 

Packs finished product for shipment 

Maintains work area to ensure a safe and clean work environment 

Actively participates in making and implementing cell improvements 

Performs duties in accordance with established quality standards 

Rotates in other work cells as instructed by Supervisor or Cell Leader 

Job Responsibilities (Fiber Optic) 

With the use of a microscope, manufacture optical assemblies according to Manufacturing Work Instructions 

Precision Soldering using a microscope when required 

Builds Fibre-Optic assemblies using fine materials, such as; optical fibers, lenses, glass tubes, metal parts, epoxy adhesives, and other related materials 

Preparation of Fibre-Optic Cable and add Terminations when required 

Configure & Test Fibre-Optic modules 

Able to follow all work instructions and procedures  

Maintains the working environment in clean and proper arrangement 

Adherence to departmental and company policies and procedures. Including the 5 “S” Principles, ISO, misc. quality system procedures 

Carry out other miscellaneous duties as may be assigned by Management 

Job Responsibilities (Powder Coat Painter) 

Sets up powder spray paint equipment, paint booth and curing oven. 

Sprays metal such as brass, steel and aluminum castings with powder paints, using a hand spray gun and pressure feed equipment. 

Clean and pretreat parts,by Chromate process, according to our manufacturing process instructions and process control sheets 

Mask & Unmask parts according to material prints  

Loads and unloads parts from curing oven. 

Maintain spray booth and curing oven as required.  

Disassembles and cleans all painting equipment and replaces paint filters. 

Inspects parts to ensure quality 

Performs duties in accordance with established quality standards. 

Maintain work area in accordance with established housekeeping procedures to ensure a safe and clean work environment. 

Performs such similar, comparable or related duties as may be required. 

 

Qualifications  

Must have proficient English reading and writing skills and be able to read and comprehend MSDS sheets and standard work instructions. High School Diploma/GED is preferred. 

Minimum 1 year experience in an assembly or lean manufacturing environment preferred. 

Manual dexterity and mechanical proficiency. 

Working knowledge of powder painting operations and equipment maintenance. (powder coat painter role only) 

Ability to use various hand and power tools and equipment to read measuring devices. 

Regularly exerting up to 20 lbs. of force and occasionally up to 50 lbs. Bending body downward and forward at the waist. Standing for sustained periods of time. Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks. 

Ability to work in fast paced environment and flex to different areas as needed. 

Overtime may be required.
