**Job Title: Assembler** **Job Description** The Assembler will perform manual labor in a production line and assemble parts for satellite systems. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work with small electronic parts and mechanical equipment. **Responsibilities** + Work as part of a production team to assemble parts. + Sort and place materials or items on tables, racks, or bins. + Assemble satellite sub-assembly parts manually. + Use various hand tools, measuring, and test equipment. + Clean assembled parts and place them in protective bags or boxes. + Pack, seal, and move boxes. + Pick up, move, and sort small parts. + Use small tools and jigs to manipulate parts for assembly. + Perform other related duties as assigned by management. **Essential Skills** + Assembly + Blueprint reading + Wiring assembly + Proficiency with hand tools and power tools + Ability to read and interpret blueprints + Experience working with sheet metal **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High school diploma or GED + US Citizen, Permanent Resident Card Holder, or non-citizen allowed to work for any employer + Experience in assembly or manufacturing preferred not required **Work Environment** The work environment is a clean room setting, where you will be required to wear smocks, hair nets, beard nets, and shoe covers to maintain a sterile environment. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Midland, Texas. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00 • Medical, dental & vision • Critical Illness, Accident, and Hospital • 401(k) Retirement Plan – Pre-tax and Roth post-tax contributions available • Life Insurance (Voluntary Life & AD&D for the employee and dependents) • Short and long-term disability • Health Spending Account (HSA) • Transportation benefits • Employee Assistance Program • Time Off/Leave (PTO, Vacation or Sick Leave) **Workplace Type** This is a fully onsite position in Midland,TX. **Application Deadline** This position will be accepting applications until Jan 4, 2025. **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
