Job Title: Mechanical Assembler

As a Mechanical Assembler, you'll work independently at a station to perform and complete all mechanical assemblies, including various size motors and drives used in diverse applications. Responsibilities:

Independently perform and complete all mechanical assemblies.Assemble various size motors and drives used in diverse applications.Utilize hand tools, power tools, blueprints, gauges, and calipers.Follow directions and learn the assembly process.Use drawings as reference points to perform assemblies.Engage in mechanical and electrical assembly tasks, including wiring.

Work Hours:

Normal work hours are from 6:00/7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with the possibility of working other shifts as needed.Ability to work Saturdays from 6:00 am to 11:00 am as needed.Regular and punctual attendance required, with the ability to work overtime, including weekends.

Essential Skills:

Mechanical assembly experience.Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and blueprints.Mechanical aptitude, formal training, or transferable skills from a hobby.Ability to follow directions and learn the assembly process.Experience with electrical assembly and wiring.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Preferred experience in mechanical assembly, especially with gears or drives.Experience in aircraft assembly or automotive plant assembly is a plus.Ability to work within the assembly environment with exposure to chemicals, oils, greases, solvents, and cleaners.Ability to work in the Bridgeport Assembly plant in Swedesboro, NJ.Regular and punctual attendance, with the ability to work overtime and weekends as required.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.50 - $21.50
