**Job Title: Mechanical Assembler**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a dedicated Mechanical Assembler to perform a variety of routine mechanical assembly operations. The ideal candidate will be experienced in using hand tools and power tools to assemble products based on blueprints, conducting inspections, and ensuring adherence to process specifications.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform a variety of routine mechanical assembly operations.
+ Conduct inspections of own and other associates' work to ensure correctness.
+ Use hand tools and power tools, including screwdrivers and crimpers, to assemble products based on blueprints.
+ Apply process specifications governing the production of products within an assigned cell.
+ Record production time and quantity data.
+ Actively demonstrate and adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
+ Be open to cross-training and assisting in various tasks as needed.
**Essential Skills**
+ At least 1 year of mechanical assembly experience.
+ Ability to read and communicate in English.
+ High School Diploma required.
+ Familiarity with blueprints, mechanical assembly, and the use of hand and power tools.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Aerospace experience is a plus but not required.
+ BA/BS required if intending to pursue leadership roles.

**Work Environment**
The role operates on a Monday to Friday 1st shift from 5 AM to 1:30 PM in a manufacturing environment that can occasionally be loud. Steel toe shoes and safety glasses are required. This position is a 90 working day temp-to-hire assignment (approximately 4 months). Attendance is crucial, and tenure is highly considered.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Simi Valley, California.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00
