**Job Title: Assembler**
**Job Description**
We are seeking an Assembler with 1-2 years of manufacturing and assembly experience. The ideal candidate will perform light mechanical assembly tasks, including working with wire harnesses and D9 connectors, tack down of wires, and working on panel boxes using basic hand tools. Some basic soldering is also required.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform light mechanical assembly tasks

+ Use basic hand tools
+ Perform basic soldering
**Essential Skills**
+ 1-2 years of manufacturing and assembly experience
+ Experience with mechanical and electronic assembly
+ Proficiency in using hand tools
+ Ability to read and interpret prints
**Why Work Here?**
This is a small operation with a family-like atmosphere. Employees have the opportunity to move to other departments and receive cross-training in running CNC machines, water jet, and welding.
**Work Environment**
The work environment is a shop setting that is relatively clean but not climate controlled. Assemblers work at stations or cubicles alongside 10-15 other team members. The dress code is relaxed, with jeans and t-shirts being acceptable. While the environment is not highly deadline-intensive, employees are expected to have a sense of urgency to complete tasks efficiently.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Norfolk, Virginia.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00
