**Job Title: Assembler** **Job Description** The Assembler will be responsible for simple mechanical assembly and finishing of in-process units. This includes building and finishing boxes, which involves attaching rectangular metal pieces together using tools to form the unit's frame. Once assembled, the unit will be moved to a boxing area where it will be wrapped in cardboard and stapled for shipment. This process requires dexterity to reach around and above the unit. **Responsibilities** + Perform mechanical assembly of rectangular metal pieces to form unit frames. + Use hand and power tools to attach metal pieces together. + Move assembled units to the boxing area. + Wrap units in cardboard and staple them for shipment. + Ensure high-quality work and adherence to safety standards. **Essential Skills** + Previous experience in a job that required standing for at least 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week. + Ability to repetitively lift 30-40 lb parts, up to 50+ times per day. + Familiarity with hand and power tools. + Ownership of steel-toed or composite-toed protective shoes. + Ability to work safely and maintain high-quality work based on standards. **Shift & Pay** + 1st shift: 6am - 4:30 pm + **$18** **Why Work Here?** Our company offers a temperature-controlled work environment with opportunities for advancement to higher-paying roles such as Assembler II. The fabrication area houses a laser cutting machine, deburring and brazing stations, and workstations for basic hand tool work. The assembly area is organized but somewhat cramped, with units moving on carts. The facility is temperature controlled, but employees may feel warm due to the required arm sleeves. Shifts include 1st shift from 6 am to 4:30 pm and 2nd shift from 4:30 pm to 3 am, with mandatory overtime on Fridays. The dress code includes steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, protective cut sleeves, cut gloves, and cotton, canvas, or denim pants. No sweats, spandex, or nylon clothing allowed, and hoods cannot be worn over the head. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Noblesville, Indiana. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
