**Job Title: Assembler** **Job Description** As an assembler, you will be responsible for assembling pumps for gas (not liquid) from start to finish at your own workbench. You will work off blueprints, utilizing hand and power tools to complete subassemblies and fully build the pumps. Additionally, you will assemble crates for product shipping. Builds may take 2-3 days to fully complete. The finished products vary in size, similar to a desktop computer up to the size of a workbench. For larger pumps, you will use an overhead crane for lifting; otherwise, everything is hand-lifted or team-lifted. **Responsibilities** + Assemble pumps for gas from start to finish at your own workbench. + Work off blueprints and utilize hand and power tools. + Complete subassemblies and fully build the pumps. + Assemble crates for product shipping. + Use an overhead crane for lifting larger pumps. + Install pumps into generators for hospitals, commercial buildings, and diesel engines. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools. + Experience with mechanical assembly. + Ability to read and work off blueprints and schematics. + Mechanical inclination with at least 6+ months of relevant experience. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Strong attendance and positive attitude. + Ability to stand all day and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs. + Experience with complex assembly, such as building IKEA furniture or working on cars, is a plus. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy great benefits once hired on, including company-paid medical, vision, dental, and health insurance with an option to add family members for a nominal fee. Additionally, after six months, you will be eligible for holiday pay. **Work Environment** You will work in a clean warehouse with a relaxed, laid-back environment. The team consists of six total assemblers in the production area. Each assembler has their own workbench and tools provided, with work being done standing all day. The facility is climate-controlled. You can choose to work flexible hours between 6am - 5pm as long as you complete an 8-hour shift. For training, the initial schedule will be 8am - 4:30pm for a couple of weeks. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, Minnesota. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
