Aerotek is Hiring Multiple Production Assemblers

Job Description

As an assembler, you will be responsible for inspecting incoming shipments, removing exterior panels, and installing battery stacks into containers. You will also handle a series of electrical and fluid connections, as well as assembling some electrical equipment. This role requires physical tasks such as reaching, pulling, and lifting up to 50 lbs. You will be working on a two/three-step platform ladder most of the day.

ResponsibilitiesInspect incoming shipments and remove exterior panels using an Allen keyInstall battery stacks into containers using an overhead craneWork on electrical and fluid connections using socket wrenches, torque wrenches, and routing of plumbing/hosesClose the battery by putting module covers/panels back on with screws and torqueing them properlyAssemble electrical equipment called DCDC, through a sub-assembly processPerform small painting tasks on panelsRoute and fish cables through the unitUse hand tools such as screwdrivers, Allen keys, torque wrenches, spanners, grinders, crimpers, and cordless drillsEssential SkillsAbility to lift 50 lbsGreat communication skillsAbility to read English instructionsGreat attitude with a go-getter mindset and sense of urgencyRecent experience using hand tools and in a similar mechanical role, predominantly assemblingAdditional Skills & Qualifications2+ years of experience in a similar roleExperience in the energy sectorProactive and takes initiativeInnovative mindset with the ability to offer suggestions and improvementsWhy Work Here?
