Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Assembler to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing work by studying assembly instructions, positioning parts, and verifying specifications. This role involves working with hand tools and power tools, maintaining equipment, and ensuring a safe and clean working environment. The position requires full-time availability and the ability to work overtime as needed.

ResponsibilitiesPrepare work by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists, gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.Position parts and subassemblies using templates or reading measurements.Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts and subassemblies.Verify specifications by measuring completed components.Resolve assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications, notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources.Keep equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements, following manufacturer’s instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, calling for repairs.Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.Maintain supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies, placing and expediting orders for supplies, verifying receipt of supplies.Conserve resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.Document actions by completing production and quality forms, logging labor hours.Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.Essential SkillsAbility to read and use a measuring tapeProficiency with hand tools and power toolsReliable transportationWillingness to work full-time and overtimeAvailability to work 1st shift starting at 5 am or 6 amAdditional Skills & QualificationsExperience in construction, manufacturing, or laborFamiliarity with tape measures and assembly processesWhy Work Here?

Work Environment

The work environment is a manufacturing setting that can be hot and humid, with exposure to fiberglass and foam. This position is located in a lamination building where side walls, ceilings, and floors for campers and trailers are assembled. Dress code includes appropriate attire for a manufacturing environment, and shifts start as early as 5 am or 6 am.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.25 - $19.57
