**Job Title: Assembler (2nd Shift)** **Job Description** This role involves working in the underfill and staking department of the manufacturing process. Candidates will perform very small parts assembly and gluing under a microscope. This is all manual work, not machine-based, and involves handling coatings and epoxies. The work is comparable to intricate cake piping but on a much more detailed scale. **Responsibilities** + Inspect work for defects + Replace parts as needed or directed + Inspect product using a microscope + Obtain Basic Component ID Certification + Follow documentation and procedures + Read and comprehend English + Work with a microscope + Perform masking and demasking tasks **Essential Skills** + Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently + Comfortable working with glue and epoxy (non-toxic and safe) + Experience in electronics manufacturing preferred + Familiarity with hand tools such as torque drives, hand cutters, and screwdrivers + Experience with epoxy, RTV silicone, and automatic paste dispensers is a plus + Ability to use microscopes for the majority of the day + Basic math skills and ability to recognize and distinguish colors + Comfortable sitting and working under a microscope for extended periods + Computer skills to operate and load programs for machines **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with epoxy and RTV or other adhesives (candidates must be okay with odors, all are non-toxic) + Requires a steady hand and patience + Must be okay with sitting at a station for 7+ hours a day under the microscope **Why Work Here?** The company provides IPC A-610 certification and typically offers conversion to permanent roles within 90 days. The work involves handling high-quality boards used in drills that go a mile below the ground. The available shift is 2nd shift, from 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM, with a 10% shift differential. Employees must be comfortable with overtime, including weekends, and adhere to clean room protocols, which include wearing full protective gear such as bunny suits, foot covers, mouth covers, gloves, and hair nets.
