Job Title: Assembler
Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Assembler to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing basic start-up and shut down procedures for machine operations, loading materials, and setting up tooling. The Assembler will also be tasked with checking machined parts visually and dimensionally, polishing and applying finishes, reading and processing blueprints, and assembling parts for final packaging and shipping.

ResponsibilitiesPerform basic start-up and shut down procedures for machine operations and loading materials in machining.Setup tooling and make basic machine adjustments as necessary.Check machined parts visually and dimensionally to meet production standards.Polish and apply finish to parts using an array of different equipment.Read and process basic blueprints, details, calipers, gauges, and dial indicators as necessary to perform tasks.Assemble parts and prepare packaging for final products required for shipping.Recognize and report any machine malfunctions and part discrepancies to the department leader.Perform basic machine maintenance such as cleaning and adding oils and coolants as needed.Report any machine malfunctions immediately to the department manager.Keep the work area and equipment safe, clean, and organized.Assist in the shop as needed.Essential SkillsAt least 1 year of experience in assembly.At least 1 year of experience reading blueprints.At least 2 years of experience using hand tools, calipers, and gauges.Additional Skills & QualificationsPreferably previous experience using calipers or operating machines in an industrial environment.Why Work Here?

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00
