**Job Title: Assembler**
**Job Description**
+ Primary responsibilities of the position include the assembly of axles and brake components for customers seeking high quality, on time products in a fast paced work environment, while ensuring quality and work safety.
+ Read blueprints and verify the parts required prior to assembly.
+ Familiarize yourself with the tools, instrumentation and calibration equipment.
+ Communicate with other stations on the assembly line to ensure maximum speed and accuracy.
+ Assemble components accurately, thoroughly and quickly to approved specifications.
**Responsibilities**
+ Assemble axles and brake components
+ Read and verify parts required using blueprints
+ Inform supervisors of any part or equipment defects
+ Familiarize with tools, instrumentation, and calibration equipment
+ Communicate with other stations on the assembly line
+ Maintain and service equipment as needed
+ Conserve resources and supplies to minimize waste
+ Assemble components accurately, thoroughly, and quickly to approved specifications
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience with hand and power tools
+ Ability to read blueprints
+ Mechanical assembly skills
+ Proficiency in using tape measures
+ Good work ethic
+ Adaptability to a fast-paced environment
+ Timeliness and promptness for all shifts
**Work Environment**
+ Non-climate controlled facility.
+ It is a heavy industrial environment.
+ Schedule: 1st shift: 6am - 2:30pm Monday - Thursday (hours may vary depending on workload)
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $18.25 - $18.25
