You will be aligned to the Tipper Tie Division within JBT Marel that specializes in food packaging equipment. As an Assembler– you will report to the Assembly Supervisor. You will assemble a variety of components, sub-assemblies and finished products (clippers and capital equipment) to meet the production schedule. The assembler uses electrical, pneumatic and mechanical prints for assembly tasks and thoroughly tests finished assemblies and machines to ensure operation meets established specifications. On a given day, you may: Use electrical, pneumatic and mechanical prints as reference source in assembling parts and assemblies following daily schedule. Perform inspection and testing of machines and assemblies to ensure it meets criteria. This is to include completion of applicable check sheets for equipment according to product work instructions. May work at different assembly stations as production needs require. Notify supervisor of potential quality related situations during manufacturing processes and report all non-conforming parts, materials and drawings. Interpret and process jobs and tasks based on reports and supervisor updates. Requirements for the role High School Diploma Must have at least three years' experience working with standard tooling in an assembly area, machine shop or similar manufacturing environment. Must have ability to read & interpret pneumatic/electrical and mechanical prints. Proficient in working with decimals, fractions and blueprints.
