Job Description
We are looking for individuals who are mechanically inclined or have manufacturing experience to join our team as an Assembler. This position is open to candidates with various levels of experience, as we are willing to provide training. The primary responsibilities include performing layout assembly and soldering of wires, following given drawings and work instructions to assemble products such as cable harnesses, thermocouples, sensors, and satellite heaters.
ResponsibilitiesPerform layout assembly and soldering of wires.Follow drawings and work instructions to complete assembly tasks.Assemble products including cable harnesses, thermocouples, sensors, and satellite heaters.Utilize hand tools for assembly tasks.Ensure electronic wire assembly is completed accurately.Communicate effectively with team members.Maintain dependability and meet production goals.Essential Skills1 year of manufacturing experience.3 months or more of assembly experience.Proficiency in soldering.Ability to read drawings and work instructions.Experience with electronic wire assembly.Additional Skills & QualificationsMicroscope soldering and brazing experience is a plus.Basic computer skills.Ability to work off work orders.Ability to utilize hand tools.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The work environment is clean and fairly quiet, with approximately 100+ employees at the facility. You will have autonomy in your work and will be expected to meet production goals. There are about 36 assemblers who report to the production supervisor. You can choose to stand or sit while performing assembly tasks, and some employees have headphones on. The atmosphere is production-oriented with clear goals to achieve.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Branford, Connecticut.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $14.00 - $18.00
